  • The Dam Ride

    This is the eighth annual 80-mile ride from the Alabama Power Building in Birmingham to Lay Dam in Chilton County on beautiful backroads of central Alabama. We do a lunch stop in Vandiver and a post-ride meal at Lay Dam. Your family is welcome to meet you for the post-ride meal at Lay Dam. We provide on-route support, law enforcement escort, food, and return transportation to Birmingham. Gather at 600 N. 18th St. by 8:30am, roll at 9am. Route with mileage notes here.

    This is a fundraising event.

    $100 minimum donation to participate

    $300 suggested fundraising

    Beneficiaries for this event are Kid One Transport (youth and mom medical transport) and Pogi Kids USA (youth road cycling).

  • Natchez Trace 300

    Spring, 2025

    This is our third 300-mile ride on the beautiful Natchez Trace Parkway. We ride from the north end of the Parkway just outside Nashville, Tennessee, to Ridgeland, Mississippi, riding about 100 miles each day for three days. We spend the first night in Florence, Alabama, and the second night in Starkville, Mississippi. Excellent scenery, lodging, food, transportation, camaraderie and en-route support.

  • Youth Road Cycling

    Sundays at 2:30pm beginning spring 2025

    We will provide instruction and training for kids aged 13-18 who are interested in road cycling. Any level of experience. Meet at Miss Fancy (the large elephant sculpture on 5th Avenue South in Avondale Park).
